A dental bridge is a structure placed in the mouth to replace one or more missing teeth.
Unlike dental implants that are rooted into your jaw, dental bridges superficially “bridge” or fill gaps, without the need for oral surgery. To secure a bridge into place, there must be two fixed points in the mouth to which it can be bonded. The teeth surrounding the gap must be fitted with crowns so that the bridge can be bonded between them. Bridges are firmly secured inside of the mouth so that they cannot fall out or be removed by hand. View before and after photos of dental bridges in our photo gallery.
